CAREFREE FULL MANAGEMENT PACKAGE

Rent Fuerteventura offer a Carefree Full Management Holiday Rental Package, guaranteeing that you can sit back and relax knowing your  property is secure and in safe hands.
We pride ourselves on our excellent level of service and as a family run business we take great pride in offering a very personal touch to our client's properties. We will ensure the security and cleanliness of your Fuerteventura home always providing your guests with a high standard of comfort.
The fees we charge are easily redeemed by regular lettings and it is in both our best interests to make sure that each booking goes as smoothly as possible, resulting in guests that wish to re-book the following year, and recommend. We do take a 10% fee which is deducted from the weekly booking charge, the balance  can be banked into your account on the island This aims to supplement the owners own bookings and should in no way be used as the only means of obtaining bookings. We will co ordinate any booking requests made directly to us and check with you for any bookings you may have taken.                                                                                              
We can tailor make a package to suit each individual homeowner. This is something we can discuss with you but the following will give you an idea of the services included in this package that we provide:

 

  • The promotion and advertising of your property on various websites.
  • Setting the rental prices (as agreed with the owner) and maintaining the rental tariff so that up to date pricing is always available for the clients.
  • Dealing with the initial rental enquiry through to final confirmation on all bookings and lettings for the owner's property.
  • Property Inspection - this service is similar in content to the Preparation and Inspection Package. See below for full listing of services carried out.
     

 
PREPARATION & INSPECTION SERVICE

This service is for the property owner who will be using the property themselves and who will be advertising and arranging rentals for their own clients, therefore this would be the management package that would ideally suit your needs. We will carryout the following services:

  • Key Holding
  • We will check the property once a fortnight or monthly inside and out (making out regular reports) See our security page
  • Inspect all the windows, doors and alarm (if present)
  • Flush all toilets, run all taps and showers to clean any stagnant water and to eliminate any smell, leaving fresh water in the pipes
  • Check property for signs of damp or mould
  • Check property for any infestation both inside and out
  • Allow property to have a good airing
  • Ensure property is properly secured on completion of inspection
  • Prepare property for owner's arrival, making up beds, putting out clean towels, etc.
  • Switch  boiler, fridge and appliances, also switching on lights if night arrival
  • Regular check of all electrical appliances, air conditioning/heating and light bulbs
  • Watering fortnightly  or monthly of balcony plants only (not watering of garden unless taken as an extra)
  • Check mailbox and remove any mail
  • Informing owner if any repairs are necessary, acting only on instruction of owner unless emergency repairs are required and always providing quotations beforehand

Our Service For Owner's Guests

  • Guest meet and greet service with key handover on arrival and departure of guests. On request preparing the property for guest arrival, switching on electricity, fridge, boiler, air conditioning/heating. Making up of beds, clean towels, etc at a cost of 10 Euros.

  • General assistance to guests if needed in case of medical or police problems, etc.
  • Our cleaning and laundry services will be carried out on guest departure and a mid clean and laundry service is available for stays of longer than 1 week. See our page on cleaning services for charges
  • Leaving a selection of local guides in the property for restaurants, places of interest etc and emergency contact numbers including Rent Fuerteventura 24hr contact number.
  • Call outs for evening, weekends, nighttime or on Bank holidays may incur an additional charge depending on the time spent at the property.

PLEASE NOTE: On same day change overs, if you require our cleaning and laundry service your guests must vacate the property by mid day with the new guests arriving not before 17.00 hrs thus enabling us to prepare the property. We will do our best to accommodate guests arriving earlier by allowing cases to be left at the property.  


PEACE OF MIND INSPECTION SERVICE

This service is for the non-rental property owner who would like total peace of mind knowing that their Spanish investment is safe and cared for to a high standard in their absence. For this service we will carryout the following:

  • Keyholding
  • We will check the property fortnightly or monthly depending on your instructions inside and out and inform you if anything is not as it should be.
  • Inform owner immediately of any problems arising at the property requiring urgent attention, acting only on owner's instructions
  • Inspect all the windows, doors and alarm (if present)
  • Flush all toilets, run all taps and showers to clean any stagnant water and to eliminate any smell, leaving fresh water in the pipes
  • Check property for signs of damp or mould
  • Check property for any infestation both inside and out
  • Allow property to have a good airing
  • Ensure property is properly secured on completion of inspection
  • The charge for this service is 10 euros per inspection.

PROPERTIES ON LONG TERM RENTAL

You may prefer to have your property on a long term rental. We can offer you a service to help manage the property and the tenancy. We will help you source a possible tenant and issue the necessary paperwork to make the tenancy legal. For this service we will carry out the following:

  • Keyholding
  • Help find possible tenants through advertising locally.
  • Issue a tenancy contract for the set period of the let.
  • Visit the property once a month during the tenancy to make sure the property is being kept in good condition.
  • Collect rent and pay into your account.
  • Inform you immediately on any rent default.
  • Provide you with monthly update of incomings/outgoings.
  • Inform you and get quotes for any maintenance problems.

This service is priced at 10% of the first months rent if we source the tenant and 10% of the monthly rent thereafter.

The price for tenants sourced by yourselves will be: - issuing contract 10 euros and then 20 euros per month thereafter (this covers the monthly inspection and collection and banking of rent into your account).
